LoveShop Studio respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data — in plain language, without the legalese where we can avoid it.

LoveShop Studio LLC (“LoveShop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a digital agency offering websites, brand identity, marketing, and AI-powered tools. This Privacy Policy applies to loveshop.studio and any related services we provide.

02Information We Collect
Information You Provide
When you interact with our chat concierge, send us a question from our pricing page, book a free discovery call from our homepage, our Takeoff page or our pricing page, or call, text or email us, you may share with us:
- Contact information — your name and email address, or phone number, if you call or text us
- Project details — the services you're interested in, a description of your project, the package you pick (with its listed price), and your desired timeline
- Any other information you choose to share in messages or replies
Information Collected Automatically
When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect:
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, device type, and referring URL
- Usage data — pages you visit, time spent on each page, and links you click
Browser Storage
We use your browser's localStorage to remember any chat settings you change and to keep a copy of the enquiry details you complete in the chat concierge, the lobby concierge on our homepage or the question form on our pricing page (your name, email, and project details) on your device. That copy stays in your browser. Our homepage also uses your browser's sessionStorage, which is cleared when you close the tab, to remember that you have already seen the opening animation, how many AI replies the lobby concierge has used, and whether its AI is paused. It holds no personal information.
The enquiry details you complete in either concierge or send from the question form on our pricing page — your name, email, and project details — are sent to LoveShop Studio when you finish the conversation or send the form. Your browser sends them directly to two providers: Netlify Forms, which stores the submission in our Netlify account and emails it to our business inbox (Google Workspace), and Web3Forms, which sends you a confirmation email and keeps a copy in its dashboard. We keep no database of our own; copies of your enquiry sit in those two providers’ dashboards and in our inbox.
03How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Respond to your enquiries and provide proposals tailored to your project
- Deliver, improve, and personalise our services
- Send you communications relevant to your enquiry or active project
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats
We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.
04Who We Share It With
We rely on a small set of carefully chosen service providers to operate. Each receives only the data they need to perform their role:
- Netlify Forms — receives the enquiries you complete in our chat concierge or lobby concierge, or send from the question form on our pricing page, directly from your browser, stores them in our Netlify account, and emails them to our inbox
- Web3Forms — receives the same enquiries directly from your browser, sends you a confirmation email, and keeps a copy in its dashboard
- Anthropic — powers the AI in our concierges. The chat concierge uses it only when AI mode is active; the lobby concierge on our homepage always uses it when it is available, and falls back to a scripted conversation when it is not. To phrase its next question it receives your answers so far (the type of service and the timeline you picked, your project description, and your first name; never the package or the prices you see). It never receives your email address.
- PostHog (United States) — product analytics: which pages are visited, clicks, and how far visitors get through the chat concierge, including the options picked there (such as service type or the package you pick), which package buttons are tapped on our pricing page, whether a question was sent from its question form, and for which package (never what you wrote), and which contact option (booking, email, call or text) is tapped on our homepage, Takeoff page and pricing page, including which button opened the options. When you arrive from one of our ads, it also records the campaign tags in the link (which ad and campaign brought you). It identifies your browser with a pseudonymous identifier stored in a cookie and localStorage. Nothing you type into the chat or the question form and none of your contact details (your name, email, or project description) are sent to it.
- Google Workspace — provides our email infrastructure (hello@loveshop.studio)
- Google Calendar — if you book a free discovery call, Google’s booking page collects your first and last name, your email address and anything else you choose to add, and places the appointment in our Google Workspace calendar. Google may email you a confirmation. Google handles this for LoveShop Studio as part of our Google Workspace account. Our private operations tool (the Studio Ledger) reads our own business calendar, read-only, to show and remind us of our own booked discovery calls. It keeps no copy of the calendar details beyond a call’s event ID (as a scrambled code) and its start time, for up to 7 days, so that a reminder is never sent twice.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces on our pages; your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address and basic browser details
- Netlify — hosts our website and serves it to your browser
We may also share information when required by law (e.g. valid court orders or legal process), or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LoveShop, our clients, or the public.
05Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to data, and trusted infrastructure providers. No system is perfectly secure, however, so we encourage you to share only the information necessary for your project.
06How Long We Keep It
We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes. Specifically:
- Active enquiries — kept for the duration of our discussions and any subsequent project
- Inactive enquiries — held in our email systems, in the Netlify Forms and Web3Forms dashboards and, for discovery-call bookings, in our Google Workspace calendar, and, if you call or text us, on our business phone, reviewed periodically, and deleted within 24 months of your last contact with us unless you ask us to keep them. This review is carried out by us and covers those dashboard copies too; there is no automatic deletion process.
- Active client records — kept for the duration of our engagement plus 7 years for tax and legal purposes
You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time (see Section 7).
07Your Rights
You have meaningful rights over your personal information. Depending on where you live, these may include:
For Everyone
- Access — ask us what personal information we hold about you
- Correction — ask us to fix anything inaccurate
- Deletion — ask us to remove your information
- Objection — tell us to stop processing your information for certain purposes
If You're in the European Economic Area or UK (GDPR)
- Data portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent — for processing based on your consent, at any time
- Lodge a complaint — with your local data protection authority
If You're in California (CCPA / CPRA)
- Right to know — what categories of information we collect and how we use them
- Right to delete — subject to certain legal exceptions
- Right to opt out — we don't sell your data, but you can confirm this in writing
- Right to non-discrimination — for exercising any of these rights
08International Data Transfers
Our service providers may process your data in countries other than where you live, including the United States. When we transfer personal information across borders, we rely on contractual safeguards and the protections offered by each provider's compliance frameworks (such as Standard Contractual Clauses for EU-to-US transfers).
09Cookies & Tracking
We do not use advertising cookies, and no advertising platform receives data from our site. When you arrive from one of our ads, our analytics records the campaign tags in the link (which ad and campaign brought you) together with the pseudonymous identifier below. Your browser’s localStorage keeps its own copy of your enquiry details (your name, email, and the project details you chose to share) and any chat settings you change, so a copy of your enquiry remains even if sending it fails. That copy stays on your device, and you can clear it at any time through your browser settings. We also use PostHog for product analytics: it sets a cookie and a localStorage entry holding a pseudonymous identifier, so we can understand how visitors use the site and the chat concierge. It does not receive anything you type into the chat or your contact details (see Section 4).
10Children's Privacy
LoveShop Studio is a B2B service designed for adult clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 16. If we learn we have collected information from a child, we will delete it.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as our services evolve or as legal requirements change. When we do, we'll update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. For material changes, we'll provide additional notice (such as a banner on the site or an email to active clients).
